Booking & Cancellation Policy
At Mediskin.je we are committed to providing every client with a personalised, unhurried experience. The following policy has been put in place to respect the time of both our clients and our practitioners.
01 / Consultations
Free Consultations
We are delighted to offer all new and returning clients a complimentary consultation with one of our expert practitioners. This is an opportunity for us to understand your goals, assess your suitability for treatment, and create a bespoke treatment plan — with no obligation to proceed.
Whilst the consultation itself is free of charge, a booking fee of £50 is required to secure your appointment. This fee is fully redeemable against any treatment you choose to proceed with — so if you go ahead, it simply comes off your bill.
02 / Booking Fee
Treatment Booking Fee
To secure your treatment appointment, a booking fee of £50 is required at the time of booking. This fee is fully redeemable against the cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment — it is not an additional charge.
The booking fee helps us to reserve dedicated time with your practitioner and ensure our team is fully prepared for your visit.
03 / Cancellations
Cancellations with Less Than 48 Hours' Notice
We understand that unexpected circumstances arise. If you need to cancel your appointment with fewer than 48 hours' notice, your £50 booking fee will not be forfeited — provided you reschedule your appointment at the time of cancellation.
The booking fee will transfer to your rescheduled appointment. If you cancel without rescheduling, the booking fee will be retained to cover the cost of the reserved appointment time.
04 / No Shows
Failure to Attend
Clients who fail to attend their appointment without prior notice will be charged a no-show fee of £100. This charge reflects the full cost of the reserved appointment slot, which cannot be offered to another client at short notice.
This fee is separate from and in addition to the original £50 booking fee, which will also be retained.
05 / Exceptional Circumstances
Valid Reasons for Cancellation or Non-Attendance
We recognise that there are occasions when cancellations or non-attendance are unavoidable due to exceptional circumstances — such as sudden illness, a family emergency, or other unforeseen events.
In such cases, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible. Each situation will be assessed compassionately and on an individual basis by our team. Where a valid reason is provided and verified, fees may be waived or transferred at our discretion.
